As you're hopefully aware, my goal with this newsletter is to share with you all the lessons that I'm learning about parenting. In some cases, I share the things I've learnt through firsthand experience with my own children. At other times I share the things I've discovered that other experts are learning.
As such, I definitely don't consider myself a parenting expert. I'm just trying to connect you with the expertise that is already out there.
Recently, I came across one such group of experts - Mendability. They specialise in using sensory enrichment strategies to boost brain plasticity. This is great for treating developmental disorders, addressing key areas like sleep, self-awareness, social skills, sensory processing, communication, and picky eating. The best part is that you can get started on using their exercises straight away and from your own home, without the lengthy delays that come with waiting for a formal diagnosis (with waitlist times in Australia ballooning out to 18 months, you can imagine how much of a relief that can be for parents who know that their child needs help now!).
Sensory enrichment is also great for boosting brain development globally, so even if your child isn't developmentally delayed, I recommend you check out this free resource that Mendability has prepared. It touches on how their programs work, and if it sounds like a good fit for you, you can easily book in for a free consultation with a member of the Mendability team.
I hope you can take the time to connect with these experts!
